My name is Clare, I’m 28 and I live in Austin, Texas. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up.
I was born in Southern California, to parents from Southern California (mom) and the Mississippi gulf (dad) but was raised in England. I moved around a lot so I tend to just think of “my hometown” as being the place I am currently living, but if I had to pick any one place to say I am “from” I’d say either Cumbria, England or Los Angeles, California. Both of these places feel like “home” to me, for very different reasons.
Things I like include: sunny days, flip-flops, road trips, round-toed platform pumps, fall colors, google, the sense of calm I get from being around mountains and/or ocean, banter, the sound of liverpool fc or England football (soccer) fans singing in a pub or at a match, tailgating for college (american) football, the smell of sharpie pens, giggling babies, seeing a child learn something new, fitting into my “skinny jeans” (not to be confused with actual skinny jeans, which make my hips look massive), long weekends, and the word “bollocks”.
Things I don’t like include: the texture of tofu, brussel sprouts, people who talk on their cell phone in public restrooms, anything written in comic sans font, waking up with horrible leg cramps in the middle of the night, guinness, that feeling that you have forgotten something but you can’t for the life of you remember what it is, people on stilts, clowns, Jack Nicolson, and the word “moist”.

I’m a mom, a blogger, and a Ph.D. student, and I need your help. I’m doing a study about why women blog, and you have been selected at random to participate in a short survey about what motivates you to blog and what you get out of blogging.
Here is the link: http://www.surveygizmo.com/s/231228/women-bloggers
Thanks in advance for your help. Feel free to contact me at gmmasull@syr.edu if you have any questions.
